Q: If the ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m., when should I arrive?
A: We will ask that guests begin arriving between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m.
Q: Is there an itinerary for the day of?
A: 11:30 a.m.: Ceremony begins
12:00 p.m.: Bride and groom will take pictures with whoever wants them, reception begins, food will be served
12:45 p.m.: First dance
1:00 p.m.: Toasts
4:00 p.m.: Receptions ends
Q: Is there a dress code, color scheme, or preferred style for the wedding?
A: We are aiming for business casual; we aren't aiming for black tie formal, but we'd appreciate some nice clothes for some nice pictures. We do not have a particular color scheme or style in mind.
Q; When should I RSVP by?
A: The deadline for RSVPs is March 31st, 2025.
Q: Do you have a wedding registry? If so, where is the link?
A: In lieu of a registry, we will be asking for money to put toward our honeymoon to Australia. We will accept cash, checks, and Venmo/Zelle payments at any time: @Mason-D-Arnold & msnrnld@gmail.com, respectively. The last four digits of the phone number, should you need it, are 0092.
Q: Where is the museum? Is there a wheelchair accessible entrance?
A: Check the "venue" page for the address and directions to the museum. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance as well.
Q: Is the wedding taking place indoors or outdoors?
A: The wedding will take place among the art inside the museum.
Q: Will we be allowed to peruse the museum? Do we need to pay for entry?
A: You will be admitted for free and allowed to wander the museum at your leisure. You will also be permitted to carry small plates of food and drinks around the museum with you. We ask that you please be respectful of the museum space.
Q: Can we take pictures of the wedding or the art?
A: You may take pictures of both the wedding and the art. We and the museum ask that you do not use flash photography while in the museum; there shouldn't be much need for it since the wedding is during the day, and the museum is well lit.
Q: Can I post the photos I take online?
A: You may freely post photos of the wedding that you take. The museum prohibits photos solely of the art to be posted online. If a piece of art happens to be in the background of your picture, you can post that picture without issue.
Q: Will there be a photographer/videographer? Can we post their wedding content online?
A: Natalie Rhodes (@natalierhodesphotocollective) is our photographer. We will not have a dedicated videographer. If you post or repost Natalie's images online, we both ask that you tag her with the above handle so she can receive the credit she absolutely deserves for her amazing work.
Q: Can I bring a plus one and/or my children?
A: Yes, everyone can bring a plus one and their children. There will be art activities for all children.
Q: What kind of art activities will be provided for the children?
A: There will be an "art cart" available for everyone (not just the kids!) with artist trading cards, postcards, and a special coloring page designed solely for our wedding!
Q: What kind of food will be served at the wedding?
A: We will have a taco bar with chicken fajitas, ground beef, 6-inch flour tortillas, chips, and all the standard toppings. Assorted finger desserts will also be available.
Q: Will be there be a bar?
A: Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase from museum staff
Q: What, if any, health and safety measures will be in place?
A: We ask that you be mindful of those around you. Both Mason and Sierra have immuno-compromised family members. So, if you do not feel well, or have been exposed to the flu, pneumonia, Covid, etc., we please ask that you do not come.
